Marcyes.com Site Relaunch is a Go
So welcome to the new site, after redesigning and testing for around 6 months, I am finally ready to unveil the new site to the public.
Overall, marcyes.com has had about 5 redesigns in the last 6 months, which just goes to show you how much I change my mind. Although there are a few things that I would still like to change, but these things are mostly backend and shouldn't affect the content or navigation. I am just missing a few key features for me that I would like to add and tweak.
For everyone's information, this site is nearly 100% hand written code and is more or less a sandbox for things I want to try and new technologies I want to mess with. Sadly, most of the really cool stuff is on the back end and/or only available when you are logged in.
This redesign has also proved to me, once again, how inadequate I am with designing things and working with CSS. I am getting better, but my lack of design talent seems to be the biggest impediment to my website.
