Mailinator

For when you have to add an email to get that download. You don't have to visit the site beforehand. Just fill in the email with anything@mailinator.com and then visit the site and check anything's box. Simple, no password, no fuss.

Accessing Gmail using PHP

This points to a nice php library to access gmail, the only problem is I think it screen scrapes. I think it would be more beneficial to use Gmail's pop3 interface as described here or here.
