thesixtyone - find your new favorite song
Digg for indie music. The problem I have with sites like this, and online radio stations also, is when I hear a song that I like and I want to learn more about the band I have to write the band name down, and the song I was listening to of couse, so I can search for more info on them later.
What ends up happening when the music is continually really good is I have to stop every 5 minutes or so so I can record the band name because heaven forbid I miss a band that I might like so I end up spending my whole day writing down band names and searching for more information on Google.
This is part of the reason I don't listen to Pandora nor KCRW much anymore. I was tired of writing down band names and no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to let a song I like go by without making an effort not to forget the band.
