For when you have to add an email to get that download. You don't have to visit the site beforehand. Just fill in the email with anything@mailinator.com and then visit the site and check anything's box. Simple, no password, no fuss.

Surf on over to one of the pages in my thought archive and also my Linkage archive and you can see that I finally got a comment spam. My first ones ever. Break out the party hats and noisemakers everybody! I have arrived on the internet.

I have decided to keep the comments for posterity sake, though I will probably neutralize the urls later today.

I knew this day would come eventually, and so now I need to get working on the next version of my software integrating Akismet's anti-spam technology using their available php libraries.

So it Turns Out

While mucking about in my databases and making spam easier to deal with I discovered that I have been seriously spammed in multiple places, the worst of which is here.

It is amazing that I never knew about these. I guess I need to tighten up the commenting system.
